President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially handed over the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, confirming him as the party’s governorship candidate for the November 2025 election in Anambra State.
Ukachukwu clinched the APC ticket after a resounding victory at the party’s primary election, where he secured 1,455 votes to emerge as the clear winner.
The flag presentation took place on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, where Ukachukwu was warmly received by President Tinubu. He was joined by APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, and other key figures from the party’s leadership.
With the APC flag now in hand, Ukachukwu is set to begin his campaign in earnest, carrying the party’s hopes of clinching power in the southeastern state.
