Davido wasn’t having it when actress Sarah Martins shared a comment about his wife Chioma that he clearly didn’t appreciate.
On May 26, 2025, Martins took to Instagram to share her thoughts about a recently announced online restaurant a promotional project linked to Davido’s new album in partnership with a food brand. In her post, she suggested that the venture should have been named after Chioma instead of tying it to the album.
“As a big fan of OBO, this is coming from a place of love,” she wrote. “Personally, I think the restaurant would’ve made more sense if it was launched in Chioma’s name. She’s always been known as a talented and passionate chef, and I’ve always hoped to see a restaurant with her name on it.”
Despite Sarah’s reassurance that her words weren’t meant to throw shade, Davido didn’t take them lightly. He fired back directly in the comments: “U no get sense… no restaurant was open. That was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album 5. Now take my wife’s picture off your page.”
