The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has confirmed its awareness of a disturbing video circulating online in which controversial entertainer Speed Darlington allegedly admits to engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
The shocking admission, reportedly made during an Instagram Live session, has sparked widespread condemnation and renewed public demands for accountability. While the entertainer did not disclose the location of the alleged incident, the DSVA clarified that its jurisdiction is limited to matters that occur within Lagos State.
In a statement issued Monday, the agency revealed that it had escalated the matter to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the federal body empowered to investigate and prosecute such offenses.
“This issue has been referred to NAPTIP as part of our continued commitment to ensuring justice,” the agency said. “The Lagos State Government maintains a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and remains steadfast in advocating for the protection of every Nigerian child.”
Authorities are calling on individuals with credible information relevant to the case to come forward and assist with ongoing investigations.
