Hon. Eniade Damilare Celebrates Birthday with Empowerment for 2,000 Constituents, Eid Gifts Across IBO Federal Constituency
In a heartwarming display of generosity and community engagement, Hon. Eniade Damilare Francis marked his birthday in a grand style by empowering thousands of constituents in Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin (IBO) Federal Constituency. The event, which took place in Okuku, the headquarters of Odo-Otin Local Government Area, was a remarkable celebration attended by political leaders, party faithful, traditional rulers, and numerous community stakeholders.

As part of the celebration, Hon. Eniade distributed financial assistance of ₦20,000 each to 2,000 residents across the constituency. The beneficiaries, comprising widows, the elderly, people with disabilities, and low-income petty traders, expressed immense gratitude for the support. Many described the gesture as a beacon of hope, especially during challenging economic times. They commended Eniade’s deep sense of empathy and unwavering commitment to uplifting the most vulnerable in society.

Hon. Eniade, a leading House of Representatives hopeful, emphasized during his speech that philanthropy has always been a core part of his values. He noted that using his birthday as an opportunity to reach out to his people gave him great joy and a renewed sense of purpose.
“It has always been in me to give back to my people, regardless of political ambition. Marking my birthday in Okuku this year is significant, not just for the celebration, but for me to engage directly with our people and understand their realities. This is more than a celebration; it is a reaffirmation of my commitment to support those who truly need help,” he stated.
Beyond the birthday empowerment, Hon. Eniade also announced a massive distribution of livestock in preparation for the upcoming Eid celebrations. According to him, hundreds of cows and rams had already been procured to ensure a joyous and inclusive celebration across the 38 wards of the constituency.
He detailed that each of the 38 wards would receive a ram for community Eid festivities. Additionally, cows and rams would be presented to leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), selected community heads, royal fathers, and other notable stakeholders.
“This is a gesture of love, unity, and inclusion. We are ensuring that no community or leader is left out of the Eid celebration. We’ve engaged stakeholders across the wards to identify those truly in need, and I believe this effort will go a long way in putting smiles on the faces of our people,” he added.
The APC State Chairman in Osun, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, lauded Eniade’s noble gesture, describing it as a reflection of true leadership. He stated that the act of empowering 2,000 individuals and distributing livestock for Eid further cements Eniade’s reputation as a compassionate and people-centered leader.
“I am deeply moved by what Hon. Eniade has done today. He has shown us that leadership is not just about occupying positions but about impacting lives. His kindness is commendable, and I pray for greater strength and resources for him to continue in this path,” Lawal said.
The event was graced by a distinguished lineup of guests including Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun; Comrade Akinrogun Poju Odusola; Honourable Olalekan Badmus, Executive Director at the Nigeria Ports Authority; Prince Adebayo Adeleke (popularly known as Bank); Honourable Ibrahim Taofeek Kayode (ITK); as well as prominent traditional rulers such as the Olukuku of Okuku, the Oloyan of Oyan, and the Alasi of Asi.
