Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared an uplifting message aimed at single women over the age of 30, urging them not to lose faith.
Drawing inspiration from the Bible, specifically Isaiah 54:5, Cuppy emphasized that women should recognize God as their “real husband.” She mentioned that this particular scripture has brought her immense comfort in her own journey.
In a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, the renowned Nigerian DJ encouraged women to trust in God’s timing. She affirmed that He will never let them down and will bring the right partner into their lives when the time is right.
She said, “I was thinking about it, how I’m probably not the only woman in this situation. I’m going to call it a season of solidarity, where actually a lot of my wins and my value is not necessarily with and from a partner.”
Cuppy went on to speak directly to women in their 30s, reminding them of their worth through a scripture that continues to inspire her.
“And I want to remind anyone that is in this position, especially those in their 30s like me. There is a Bible verse that really helps me and reminds me of my worth and the fact that the creator of all creations has my back. It is Isaiah 54 verse 5: ‘For your real husband is the one who created. The Lord of all the earth.’”
She explained that this verse keeps her grounded and helps her remember that no earthly partner can take the place of God.
“So, that reminds me that anyone I fantasize about, my perfect man, my perfect partner, he was created by the creator. That means that we shouldn’t put anyone where God should be. God is a presence, an existence that does not leave a gap. So if you feel like you are missing in your life, you are not. God fills gaps, and He will never desert you. While you are waiting, know that the right person will come at the right time. And just like I have learnt, what is for you will not pass you.”
