Aisha Lawal Clears the Air on Alleged Venza Gift from MC Oluomo
Nollywood actress Aisha Lawal has firmly denied receiving a Venza car from NURTW Chairman MC Oluomo, dismissing the viral claim as completely false.
She clarified that she has never even driven a Venza and emphasized her wealth came from hard work, not handouts.
Aisha Lawal, the Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, has come forward to deny the viral rumors that she received a Venza car as a gift from MC Oluomo, the National Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The controversy started after a man identified as Baba Bistijabah, reportedly another NURTW executive, alleged in a viral video that MC Oluomo collected a Venza from him and later handed it over to the actress. The video sparked a wave of reactions online, prompting fans and critics to question the source of Aisha’s wealth.
However, in a recent appearance on the “Talk to B” show, Aisha Lawal didn’t mince words as she addressed the allegations head-on. She categorically denied ever receiving a vehicle from the union leader and added that she has never even driven a Venza in her life.
“I wonder if it was a setup or if the man smoked weed to claim that MC Oluomo collected a Venza from him and gave it to me,” she said, clearly irritated by the rumor. “I have great respect for MC Oluomo because of the help he’s given to people I know, but I never received a car from him.”
Going further, Aisha shed light on the actual source of her financial success, revealing that the COVID-19 pandemic turned out to be a breakthrough period for her.
“COVID-19 was a turning point in my life,” she explained. “During that time, I made N10 million in just one week.”
The actress emphasized that her success didn’t come easy, reminding the public of her struggles before finding financial stability. “People should respect my hustle. I worked hard to get where I am,” she added. “I don’t even like Venza. I drive a GX 460.”
Her comments have sparked renewed admiration among her fans, many of whom praised her honesty and resilience.
