TBaj Calls Out BrightO Over Alleged Withholding of ₦1 Million Since 2022
TBaj calls out fellow BBNaija star BrightO, accusing him of withholding ₦1 million meant for her since November 2022.
The reality star says repeated private attempts to resolve the issue failed and demands payment as fans rally behind her online.
Reality TV star and media personality, Tolani Shobajo, widely known as TBaj, has taken to social media to publicly call out her former Big Brother Naija colleague, BrightO, for allegedly withholding a payment of ₦1 million that was meant for her since 2022.
The allegation surfaced through a series of posts TBaj shared on X (Twitter), where she voiced her frustration and disappointment over what she described as prolonged silence and inaction on BrightO’s part. According to her, the money was reportedly paid to BrightO in November 2022, with clear instructions that it be passed on to her. However, she claims that she never received the funds, and BrightO never acknowledged the transaction or offered any explanation.
In one of her tweets, she directly addressed him, writing: “Hi Bright, I’ve been informed that a sum of ₦1M was paid to you in November to disburse to me, which I never received and you never spoke about.”
TBaj went on to explain that she had tried multiple times to reach out to BrightO privately in hopes of resolving the matter, but all her efforts were ignored. “I I made several attempts to contact you, but you never responded. I must say that I am very disappointed in you, Bright,” she added.
In a follow-up post, she gave him an ultimatum to settle the issue quickly. “Please send the money now if you prefer to resolve this peacefully. The choice is yours. I’m waiting on the transfer. She stated that the payment still hasn’t reflected in her account.
Her posts quickly gained traction, sparking reactions from fans and followers who demanded accountability from BrightO and expressed support for TBaj. While BrightO has yet to publicly respond to the allegations, the situation has reignited discussions about financial transparency and trust among public figures, especially when money is involved behind the scenes.
