Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, is set to carve her name into the history books as one of the headline performers at the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show.

FIFA officially announced on Monday, June 9, 2025, that Tems will join forces with American rap sensation Doja Cat and Colombian superstar J Balvin for a star-studded performance during the final match, scheduled for July 13 at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.

The highly anticipated halftime show is being produced by international advocacy group Global Citizen and curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, promising an unforgettable blend of music, culture, and global unity.

Sharing her excitement about the opportunity, Tems said,

The 2025 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup is a groundbreaking tournament featuring 32 of the world’s top club teams. The competition kicks off on June 14 and will be hosted across 12 stadiums in 11 cities throughout the United States.
