Porsha Williams Scores Legal Victory in Divorce Battle with Simon Guobadia as Court Upholds Prenup

Porsha Williams has won a key victory in her divorce from Simon Guobadia.

She’ll receive $40,000 monthly, keep her Rolls-Royce, and share rights to their $7 million Atlanta mansion.

American reality TV star Porsha Williams has secured a major win in her ongoing divorce proceedings with Nigerian-born businessman Simon Guobadia. According to recent reports, a judge has ruled in favor of enforcing the couple’s prenuptial agreement, dealing a significant blow to Simon in their heated legal battle.

Porsha, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. The latest courtroom drama unfolded on June 11, 2025, when both parties appeared virtually via Zoom for a marathon hearing that lasted nearly 10 hours. Despite the extended session, there was reportedly no direct communication between the estranged couple throughout the proceedings.

After the hearing, the court ruled in favor of the prenuptial agreement, awarding Porsha significant financial support and property entitlements. Simon has been ordered to pay her $40,000 per month in spousal support for up to 15 months. Additionally, Porsha will retain possession of a luxurious Rolls-Royce, which was gifted to her by Simon during their marriage.

She has also been awarded partial control of their lavish $7 million mansion in Atlanta. Under the terms of the ruling, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether she wants to remain in the residence. If she opts to stay, she must refinance the home and purchase Simon’s 50 percent share. In the meantime, Simon will remain responsible for covering the mortgage payments.

Adding another twist to the unfolding saga, it was revealed that Simon Guobadia has been deported to Nigeria after being released from the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). His deportation is reportedly the result of multiple immigration violations, including two instances of visa overstay.

The court victory marks a significant moment for Porsha Williams, who appears to be emerging from the high-profile split with both financial stability and a renewed sense of independence. As the case continues to draw public attention, fans and followers remain glued to updates surrounding one of reality television’s most talked-about breakups.
