Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred up conversations online after disclosing the amount he charges to attend events.
In a recent post on his Instagram page, the actor shared a video clip from an event he graced and used the opportunity to reveal his standard appearance fee.
Edochie stated that when clients pay him ₦20 million to show up, they should expect much more than just a simple appearance.
According to him, he arrives in grand style, bringing along his full entourage and a powerful presence to match.
“When I charge you 20 million naira to make an appearance at your event, I do not come alone,” he wrote.
“I come with all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka.”
He added that during his recent appearance at the burial of Barr. Tochukwu Nweke’s father in Nsugbe, Anambra State, the atmosphere was electrifying.
“On this day, Nsugbe was on fire. I stepped out to support my good friend, Barr. Tochukwu Nweke (SAN) Omelora as he laid his father to rest,” he wrote.
Signing off with his chieftaincy titles, he added:
“ISI MMILI JI OFOR 1 of Igbo Land. EZEDIKE 1 na Nteje Aborgu.”
