Pastor Paul Enenche Turns Down ₦30 Million Donation from Kebbi Governor (Video)

Dunamis Pastor Paul Enenche rejected ₦30 million donation from Kebbi Governor.

He advised the funds be redirected to support orphanages or meaningful community charity projects.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has declined a ₦30 million donation offered by Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris. The funds, which were presented during a recent outdoor gospel crusade in Kebbi, were suggested instead to be used for charitable causes.

During the event, a representative of Governor Idris addressed the large crowd and announced the cash gift on behalf of the state government. The gesture was described as a token of appreciation for Pastor Enenche’s visit and spiritual engagement in the region.

Speaking on behalf of the governor, Kebbi State Commissioner for Social Duties, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, explained that the ₦30 million was readily available and could be handed over to the church immediately.

However, Pastor Enenche, who appeared caught off guard by the public announcement, graciously turned down the donation. While expressing gratitude for the governor’s thoughtfulness, he made it clear that the church would not be accepting the money.

“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart. But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice,” he said.

The governor’s representative acknowledged the pastor’s response and commended his humility. The decision has since drawn widespread praise online, with many Nigerians applauding Pastor Enenche for leading by example and prioritizing service over personal gain.
