Phyna Criticizes President Tinubu’s Visit to Benue

Reality star Phyna has slammed President Tinubu’s recent Benue visit, calling it staged.

She questioned the presence of hospital victims, claiming most were already killed in the attack.

Reality TV star and former BBNaija winner, Phyna, has publicly expressed her outrage over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to Yelewata in Benue State, where a brutal attack by suspected herdsmen left over 200 people dead in a single night.

Taking to her social media page, Phyna criticized the president’s visit, questioning its authenticity and accusing the government of staging a performance rather than addressing the tragedy sincerely. She argued that there were no victims left to visit in Yelewata, as nearly everyone affected by the attack had been killed and burned alive. According to her, the photos shared from the visit including one showing the president standing on a red carpet only added to the public’s anger.

“There were no victims in Yelewata, they were all killed and burnt alive. Who are those in the hospital that the president went to visit, standing on a red rug?” she asked in her post. “@officialABAT, why are you doing a photoshoot to make us angrier? Nigeria has failed us.”

Phyna’s post immediately sparked reactions across social media, with many users echoing her frustration and demanding more accountability from the government.

Others expressed disbelief that some citizens still support the current administration despite the ongoing insecurity.

Phyna’s bold statements have contributed to growing online discourse around the government’s response to the massacre, as many Nigerians continue to grieve and demand justice for the victims.
