Security Stops Man Attempting to Approach Tinubu During Speech (Video)

A tense moment unfolded in Kaduna as a man suddenly rushed toward President Tinubu.

Security agents acted fast, calming the situation while the President continued his speech unfazed.

An unidentified man attempted to break through the security surrounding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his official visit to Kaduna State.

The president was in the state to commission several projects carried out by Governor Uba Sani’s administration. During his speech at the event, the man tried to approach him, causing a brief moment of confusion. President Tinubu, surprised by the incident, paused for a short while before continuing.

According to a report by The Punch on Friday, June 20, members of the president’s security team acted swiftly, stopping the man before he could get any closer. Despite the situation, President Tinubu remained composed and told his security officers, “Leave him alone,” before continuing his address without any signs of distress.

Following the incident, Otega Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, praised the response of the security agents. In a post on X.com, he described their action as professional and effective, noting that the president’s speech and the event went on smoothly.

He also reassured Nigerians that President Tinubu is protected by some of the most skilled and disciplined officers from the country’s top security and intelligence agencies.
