Comedian Klintoncod Calls Out Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, Dismisses Miracle Products as Fraudulent
Klintoncod blasts Prophet Fufeyin over miracle product sales, calling him a disgrace to Christianity.
The comedian says blind followership is hurting the church, sparking fresh online debate and outrage.
Popular Nigerian comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna, widely known as Klintoncod, has called out Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), accusing him of exploiting his congregation through the sale of so-called “miracle products.”
In a strongly worded video shared online, Klintoncod expressed outrage over the pastor’s controversial practices, labeling him a “nuisance to Christianity.” The visibly upset comedian argued that in any society governed by law and reason, Prophet Fufeyin would either be in jail or under psychiatric care.
According to Klintoncod, the cleric’s conduct is a prime example of what’s driving people away from the church. He didn’t hold back in his criticism of the congregation either, describing them as “gullible” for believing in and spending money on the miracle items the pastor promotes.
“People sit down wearing suits and they listen,” he scoffed, questioning how educated individuals could take such teachings seriously.
Prophet Fufeyin has faced public scrutiny before. In a previous incident, he introduced a line of women’s nightwear, claiming it would enhance intimacy and fertility in marriages. The unusual claim sparked widespread criticism and disbelief on social media.
Klintoncod’s criticism reignites a longstanding conversation around religious exploitation and blind followership in Nigeria, as many continue to question the unchecked influence of certain self-proclaimed spiritual leaders.
