Comedian Woli Arole Slams Campus Fellowship Leaders for Demanding Foodstuff as First Fruits

Woli Arole calls out campus fellowship heads for asking students to bring food as offerings.

He questions the practice, saying it takes advantage of struggling students in the name of faith.

Popular comedian and content creator, Woli Arole, has publicly criticized university fellowship leaders often referred to as “Papas” and “Mamas” for allegedly exploiting their members.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Arole expressed concern over a growing trend where student fellowship leaders reportedly demand food items from fellow students under the guise of offering “first fruits.”

Clearly displeased, he called out the practice as manipulative and uncalled for, especially in a university setting where students often struggle to meet their basic needs.

He wrote:

“I heard they are already calling you ‘Papa and Mama’ in the University because you are a fellowship leader, and now you’re telling students to bring their foodstuffs as FIRST FRUIT. What nonsense!”

His post has drawn attention online, with many people agreeing that these practices should be stopped, especially in campus fellowships.
