Davido shuts down troll over Ibiza posts, saying it’s just a holiday they won’t understand.

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has clapped back at a social media user who criticized his recent Instagram updates from his holiday in Ibiza, Spain.
Currently enjoying a luxury getaway with his 30BG crew including Asa Asika and Cubana Chief Priest the singer has been actively documenting the trip on Instagram Stories. His posts feature glimpses of yacht rides, lavish dinners, shopping sprees, and all-white parties.
However, one X (Twitter) user took issue with Davido’s frequent updates, questioning the singer’s intentions and tone during a sensitive period.
“If you go through this thread, you’d think this guy is a blogger. I know what happened is sad, but I just feel all these posts shouldn’t be coming from his personal IG account. His IG story is a mess. Who’s he trying to impress?” the critic tweeted.
Unfazed, Davido hit back, writing:
“It’s called a ‘holiday’ but you wouldn’t know sh*t about that.”
This fiery exchange came shortly after the singer made headlines for a disturbing allegation involving a top nightclub in Ibiza. On his Instagram Story, Davido claimed that security personnel at Hi Ibiza attempted to harm him and his team on Saturday night.
He also shared a photo believed to show some members of the club’s staff and suggested that more details would be revealed soon. As of the time of this report, Hi Ibiza has yet to issue a statement addressing the allegation.
While the alleged incident in Ibiza remains under investigation, Davido seems undeterred continuing to share his holiday moments and clap back at critics with his signature confidence.
