Popular Nigerian socialite and internet personality Bobrisky, also known as Afolashade Amope, has once again made headlines after publicly insisting that he be fully recognized as a woman.
In a recent Instagram post, Bobrisky announced that he has undergone gender modification procedures, which he claims now allow him to function intimately like a biological woman. He urged critics to respect his identity and accept his new gender and name.
“It’s time y’all accept Bob is now a woman,” he wrote. “I’ve done everything. Congratulations to me I can now collect gbola like all women do. I’m proud of myself. Not even one billion trolls can stop me from getting everything I want. Afolashade Amope, you won.”
Bobrisky also addressed those questioning the legitimacy of his transition, particularly regarding whether he has a womb. Responding defiantly, he said he does not need one and took a swipe at his detractors.
“Before you open your dirty mouth to ask if I have a womb, I don’t need it,” he said. “I love how these married men spend heavily on me, and I don’t have to keep an unwanted child that could destroy their happy home. I’m here to keep marriages intact.”
Despite frequent backlash, Bobrisky continues to live openly on his own terms, often using his platform to assert his identity and defy societal expectations.
