Actress Sonia Ogiri Shares DM Sent to Simon Guobadia, Claims It Was a Divine Warning

Sonia Ogiri claims God sent her to warn Simon Guobadia before his troubled marriage began.

The Nollywood actress shares old DM, sparking mixed reactions and debate over divine revelations online.

Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has stirred online buzz after sharing a screenshot of a direct message she sent to businessman Simon Guobadia, claiming it was a divine warning from God ahead of his now-troubled marriage.

In the screenshot posted on her Instagram account, Sonia revealed she messaged Simon on April 1, 2024, via her verified account after previously attempting to reach him through another now-disabled page. The message, which she described as prompted by a spiritual dream, read:

“I’m just a normal lady that hears GOD sometimes. If you will listen to me. Have a great day.”

Alongside the DM, Sonia explained in her caption that the message was not for fame or attention but to highlight the importance of heeding divine nudges. She also disclosed that she sent a similar message to Obi Cubana’s wife, warning her of something she claimed was revealed to her in a spiritual encounter.

Her caption read in part:

“GOD chooses who He wants to use.

I feel so sad for this man Simon, not because I know the full story but because I had a message for him and Obi Cubana’s wife.

We joke about everything, even when we should listen.

Me posting this isn’t for him to respond anymore, ’cause the deed has been done I just want others to learn.”

The actress emphasized that she wasn’t seeking attention or a reaction from Simon, stressing that she delivered the message out of spiritual obligation and has since moved on.

The post, however, triggered mixed reactions from followers. One commenter accused her of attention-seeking, saying the message “lacked content or intent.” Sonia fired back:

“Read to understand. Toast who? You must think same of everybody. You didn’t send me to him, so you can’t tell me how to deliver the message, son.”

Despite the backlash, Sonia stood her ground, insisting her intentions were sincere and rooted in spiritual conviction not an attempt to interfere in anyone’s personal life or attract publicity.

While Simon Guobadia has not responded to the post, the revelation has added another layer of drama to his ongoing personal controversies, with social media users now debating the sincerity and relevance of Sonia’s claimed divine insight.
