Singer Portable stirs controversy after allegedly demanding ₦50 million to support Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.
His bold ask surfaced in a leaked call with actor Lege Miami.
Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is making headlines once again, this time for demanding ₦50 million from actor and content creator Lege Miami to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
The buzz began after a video surfaced showing Lege Miami actively campaigning for Tinubu, stating that he received no payment for his political endorsement. However, another video clip has since gone viral, allegedly capturing a phone conversation between Portable and Lege Miami, during which the singer is heard negotiating a hefty ₦50 million fee to participate in the campaign.
In the clip, Portable can be heard saying he’s willing to promote Tinubu’s campaign, if the money is right.
As the 2027 elections draw nearer, Portable’s bold demand has once again highlighted the growing debate over influencer involvement in politics and the ethics of paid endorsements.
