Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has fired back at his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, reigniting their long-standing family feud.

Peter, a former member of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, accused Jude of harboring resentment and wishing financial failure upon him. In a Facebook post on Monday, Peter reflected on his solo journey, describing it as a financially and emotionally rewarding decision.
This comes after Jude Okoye reportedly criticized Peter for being ungrateful, claiming that he helped elevate the careers of many who eventually left him due to greed.
Jude wrote, “They all have one thing in common: They were big, influential and successful when I was shouldering them with my platform until they got greedy and wanted to eat alone and so left. They never complained afterwards. Rather they bragged about their ‘new found freedom’ and ‘making it all on their own’. Years down the line they fell off the wagon and became broke and instead of accepting responsibility and accountability for their choices, they are pointing fingers at the same person they left for their ‘freedom’.”
In a direct response, Peter accused Jude of feeding false information to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and wishing financial ruin upon him.
He further stressed that his solo career has proven to be more lucrative than his days with P-Square. Peter pointed out that he now earns more from shows and endorsements, without having to split revenue multiple ways.
Peter concluded his post by stating that he is done being the “matured one” and will now respond in kind when disrespected.
