Erigga Urges Nigerians Not to Delay Acting on Their Ideas

Erigga urges Nigerians to act on ideas fast, says delay lets others bring them to life.

Rapper’s message on creativity strikes chord with fans who’ve seen their ideas realized elsewhere.

Nigerian rapper and social commentator Erigga has shared a thought-provoking message with fellow Nigerians, encouraging them to act swiftly on their creative ideas.

In a post on his X (Twitter) account, the rapper emphasized the importance of execution, noting that when individuals delay bringing their ideas to life, those same concepts often emerge through others.

He clarified that such occurrences do not necessarily mean the idea was copied or stolen, but rather that the idea’s time had come, and it simply manifested through someone else.

“If you have an idea you’re excited about and you don’t bring it to life, it’s not uncommon for the idea to find its voice through another maker,” he wrote.“ This isn’t because the other artist stole your idea, but because the idea’s time has come.”

He posted:

His message resonated with many users online, especially creatives, who shared personal experiences of procrastinating on ideas that later surfaced through other people.
