Nollywood actor Ijagbemi has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Folajogun Akinlami, in a low-key wedding ceremony attended by close family members.
The Yoruba movie star announced the news via his Instagram page, where he shared photos from the event along with the caption, “To God be the glory, it’s official.”
Folajogun Akinlami, a well-known television presenter and producer, also confirmed the union on her page by changing her surname to that of her husband. Reflecting on the special moment, she expressed excitement about embracing love once again.
“Today I married my best friend and said yes to forever with him. Today I decided to get back up and give love another chance,” she wrote.
She added humorously, “Today I decided to change my surname. Today I realised Folajogun Akinlami is quite a mouthful. Mrs Fola Peters Ijagbemi will do just fine.”
