Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has offered heartfelt prayers and gratitude to music executive Don Jazzy following his generous ₦5 million donation to a cancer patient she had publicly appealed for help on behalf of.
In an emotional post shared on her Instagram page, the actress, also known as Omoborty, recounted how she tagged a few prominent figures earlier that day to support a cancer patient identified as @mustytossempire. Despite initially feeling hesitant about reaching out, she followed through, trusting that someone might respond.
According to her, Don Jazzy not only noticed the post but also messaged her directly. She described their brief exchange, during which she greeted him and even apologized for tagging him.
She wrote:
“This morning, I posted and tagged a few people to support @mustytossempire. Honestly, in my heart, I felt a little uneasy. A voice said, ‘Biodun, everyone has their own cross to carry.’ But I ignored that voice, because sometimes, disobedience to doubt is the key to a breakthrough.”
She continued:
“Don Jazzy reached out to me in my DM. He liked the post. I greeted him and apologized for tagging him. He greeted me warmly. I said, ‘Oh God, help is coming!’ Then this evening, I went back to reply to his message, and boom, Baba said, ‘I’ve sent 5 million to her already.’”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Biodun showered Don Jazzy with prayers, describing him as a man with a “large heart” and praising his selflessness.
The gesture has since drawn admiration from fans and followers, with many praising Don Jazzy for his consistent generosity and compassion.
