Juliana Olayode Raises Alarm Over Teenagers Growing Interest in Sexual Activity

Actress Juliana Olayode has expressed heartbreak over teenagers’ growing interest in sexual activity.

She believes sex is spiritual and warns that too much freedom may harm young people.

Nigerian actress Juliana Olayode, popularly known as Toyo Baby, has voiced deep concern about the increasing level of sexual activity among teenagers.

The 30-year-old screen star, in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday night, revealed that she is often left speechless by some of the things she hears from teenagers regarding their sexual experiences. She warned that sex should not be treated lightly or simply as a source of pleasure, stressing that it carries spiritual weight and should be reserved for married couples.

“What is your body count? 😳😳 The things I hear these days especially from teenagers makes me speechless/breaks my heart. Whilst some people would say, enjoy your life while you’re young, make all the mistakes you want now, I don’t, that includes sexu@lly.”

“S£x is spiritual, people only talk about the fun part, nobody really talks about the spiritual aspect of it. S£x and other sexu@l activities is for MARRIED people. I can write an epistle about this. The sex drive amongst teenagers these days is alarming, it often breaks my heart and keeps me wondering who lied to them.”

She added that her personal values remain grounded in the strong moral teachings passed down by her mother, which still influence her choices today.

“There are certain things I still cannot do now, I keep hearing my mother’s voice in my head. If we are not more intentional about the way we raise our children, we would not be happy about the kind of adults this generation would produce. What happened to train up a child in the way he should go and when he grows he will not depart from it? Proverbs 22:6.”

The actress also cautioned parents and guardians against giving children too much freedom without proper guidance, warning that excessive liberty could be harmful.

“We can not just give them a freehand, sometimes too much of freedom is destructive. There’s so much in my heart to say, for adults that view these content, if we can not correct them, let us not support them,” she wrote
