Actor Saka says a woman once rejected him for not owning two cars before marriage.
He shared the experience during an interview, sparking debate over material expectations in relationships.
Veteran Nigerian actor, Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has shared a personal story about a failed relationship due to unrealistic expectations.
In an interview with media host Chude Jideonwo, Saka opened up about a woman he once intended to marry, revealing that she insisted he must own two cars before she would consider marrying him. At the time, he was still trying to build his career and found the demand excessive.
Recalling the experience, Saka said:
“The one that I was supposed to marry was demanding that I must have two cars.”
He also cleared up a common misconception regarding his role in the popular Etisalat advertisements. Contrary to public belief, he was never an official ambassador for the telecom company.
“A lot of people thought I was an ambassador to Etisalat. No. I didn’t have any formal or official arrangement. I was just a model…”
