EeZee Conceptz MD Retracts Statement, Says Talks Ongoing to Resolve Mercy Chinwo Royalties Dispute

Nancy Nnadi, The Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, Nancy Nnadi, has revealed that discussions are ongoing with gospel singer Mercy Chinwo to resolve the royalties dispute.
This update comes as Nnadi publicly retracted her previous allegations against Chinwo, which were made amid a legal tussle involving the artist and the record label.
Reports has it that Mercy Chinwo, in January 2025, filed a lawsuit against her former label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, popularly known as Eezee Tee. She accused him of diverting $345,000 worth of music royalties. The court case followed her departure from EeZee Conceptz in 2023 due to financial disagreements.
During the legal proceedings, Nancy Nnadi accused Chinwo of financial misconduct on social media. In response, Chinwo filed a defamation suit against Nnadi, demanding a public apology and removal of the defamatory content.
Over the weekend, Nnadi posted an apology on her Instagram page, formally withdrawing the accusations and appealing for peace.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
She accompanied the message with a biblical reference from Hebrews 12:14:“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Nnadi also expressed hope that the reconciliation process, led by respected religious leaders would bring an amicable end to the dispute between the label and the gospel singer.
