Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill, ex-husband to actress Tonto Dikeh, has donated a new missionary bus to St. Stephen’s Anglican Cathedral in Ondo State in honor of his late father, Primate Gabriel Oladunni.
Churchill took to Instagram to announce the donation of a brand-new missionary bus to St. Stephen’s Anglican Cathedral in his hometown of Ondo State. He revealed that the gesture was made in honor of his late father, Primate Gabriel Oladunni, who was known for his unwavering dedication to faith, service, and community development.
In a heartfelt message, the father of four described the donation as a symbol of appreciation for God’s continued work through the church and expressed hope that the bus would be used to spread love, hope, and the gospel.
“To God’s Mission and Honoring Legacies… Yesterday, I had the honor of donating a missionary bus to St. Stephen’s Anglican Cathedral, Ondo, in loving memory of my late father, Primate Gabriel Oladunni, who was dedicated to faith, service and community. This gesture is a small token of gratitude for all God has done and continues to do through His church. May this bus serve as a vessel of love, hope, and the gospel, reaching souls near and far. Thank you to the Queen and Chiefs of the Ondo Town community for the heartfelt presentation. May our light always shine, not for praise, but to reflect God’s goodness,” he wrote.
The presentation was made during a special event, where Olori Dr. Olayinka Kiladejo, Queen of Ondo Town, praised Churchill’s late father as a pioneer and committed church leader. The donation was well received by the community, with many lauding Churchill for preserving his father’s legacy and supporting the church’s mission.
