Popular Nigerian relationship expert and social media influencer, Blessing CEO, has shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, addressing why many people struggle to experience real love.
In the video, she explained that unresolved trauma and negative experiences from the past often leave people emotionally wounded, making it hard for them to accept or believe in love.
“A lot of you are damaged. When you’re damaged, everything beautiful becomes too good to be true,” she said.
Blessing pointed out that for many, past heartbreaks or toxic relationships, along with what they see online, have shaped a mindset of fear and mistrust. This, she noted, often causes people to sabotage good relationships.
“The reason why you’re damaged is because you do not take the lessons out of the experience. Once you take out the lessons, you become peaceful,” she added.
She advised people not to judge all men or women based on one painful experience, urging followers to stop generalizing and instead focus on making better relationship choices.
According to her, both men and women are not inherently bad. It is about who we choose and how we carry unresolved baggage into new connections.
Wrapping up her message with a powerful reminder, she said:
“Love is beautiful. The only problem is, you don’t believe you deserve it. But you do.”
