She said Peter Obi isn’t perfect and sees Sowore as Nigeria’s last hope.
Reality TV star Phyna has stirred political conversation online after publicly declaring her support for Omoyele Sowore ahead of the 2027 general elections. The outspoken Big Brother Naija winner made the announcement via her X (Twitter) account, where she aired her views on Nigeria’s political landscape.
In her post, Phyna stated that her recent observations led her to conclude that Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, is not flawless. She added that Sowore, founder of Sahara Reporters and a vocal activist, appears to be Nigeria’s last hope.
Her words read:
“Is @YeleSowore going to contest in 2027? If yes, sir, I am personally ready. Because from what I just saw, even Obi is not a saint.🥹 Sowore is looking like our only hope at this point.”
Anticipating criticism, Phyna doubled down in a follow-up post, saying:
“I said my own and piece… everyone has their opinions, but unfortunately, some monkeys are masturbating and doing soapy on my CS 😂😂😂. Omo, everybody wants a better Nigeria, and I see mine in Sowore at this point 🤦🏼♀️ 🪣🪣🪣 for your tears.”
