Bimbo Ademoye Opens Up About Betrayal from Jealous Friend
Nollywood star Bimbo Ademoye has opened up about a close friend who betrayed her trust out of envy.
From copying outfits to trolling her online, Bimbo says the betrayal ran deeper than she imagined.
Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has shared a shocking story about a close friend who turned against her out of jealousy and desperation.

In a recent Instagram post, Bimbo revealed that the friend, who also wanted to become an actress, started off as someone she supported wholeheartedly. She often shopped for her, buying clothes, shoes, and bags so they could attend events looking great together.
“I remember I once had a friend who wanted to be an actor as well. Whenever we attended events, I’d shop for her as well, I’m talking clothes, shoes, bags and all. I wanted her to look like the superstar she wanted to become.”
Bimbo said things began to feel off when the friend wore the exact same dress as her, though in a different color to a movie premiere where Bimbo played the lead role.
“Tell me why Aunty pulled out the same exact dress I was wearing in another color.”
Though Bimbo didn’t take it seriously at first, her sister warned her that the friend’s actions were crossing a line.
“She should let you have your moment, she’s not even an actress yet, talk more of being in the film you’re for.”
Over time, the friend began trying to outshine her at every event, all on Bimbo’s dime. Then, when Bimbo fell sick for months, the friend vanished.
“Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, I didn’t see this aunty. So I took my L and cut her off.”
But the biggest shock came later. Bimbo discovered that the same friend had created a fake Instagram account to troll her and send messages to her then-boyfriend.
“Tell me why this daughter of Jezebel created a fake page on IG and started trolling me and sending messages to my boyfriend at the time saying all sorts. The craziest part, she even tried to link up with him romantically.”
Bimbo ended the story hinting that there’s more to come:
“Anyways let me stop here. We’d continue this story another day, if there’s any need to.
