Rita Edochie Defends May Edochie, Slams Critics Over Surname Drama
Rita Edochie has defended May Edochie’s decision to keep her estranged husband’s surname.
She slammed critics online, insisting they have no right to dictate what name May should use.
Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has come out in defense of May Edochie, against those urging her to drop her estranged husband, Yul Edochie’s surname.
Taking to social media, Rita addressed the ongoing criticism, making it clear that May has every right to keep the name and that no one else has the authority to take it from her. She responded with a strongly worded post, calling out those who have been attacking May online.
In her words:
“NDIALA NDIALA EVERYWHERE. HER NAME REMAINS QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE EVEN AFTER THE DIVORCE BECAUSE YOU DID NOT GIVE HER THE NAME. IWE WEGI OGA, MADAM SEE 🪣🪣🪣 OR BETTER STILL GO HUG 🫂 TRANSFORMER 👌.”
Rita also questioned why strangers are so invested in someone who does not even know they exist. She urged them to stop spreading hate and focus on their own lives.
“H@TERS SLEEP WELL OOOO… BECAUSE THE NAME HAS COME TO STAY👌. WHY THIS SO MUCH H@TE ON SOMEONE THAT DOESN’T KNOW YOU EXIST?”
She ended her post with a piece of advice for her followers:
“PRAY FOR YOUR OWN SUCCESS AND WITH GOD, YOU WILL DEFINITELY SHINE IN YOUR SEASON 👌. BE HAPPY FOR WHO GOD ALMIGHTY HAS BLESSED FOR YOURS TO COME TOO.”
