Israel DMW has broken his silence after the Supreme Court ruled against Asue Ighodalo.
He had publicly backed Ighodalo, who challenged Monday Okpebholo’s emergence as Edo governor.
Israel DMW, has reacted to the Supreme Court’s order to dismiss the petition case filed by the former PDP governorship candidate of Edo State, Asue Ighodalo.
Ighodalo, who was Israel’s preferred choice for the September 2024 election, had approached the Supreme Court to challenge the victory of Monday Okpebholo, the current governor of the state. He hoped to overturn the outcome of the September 2023 polls.
However, in its ruling on Thursday, July 10, the apex court struck out Ighodalo’s petition, declaring that it lacked merit.
