Air Peace Plane Skids Off Runway in Port Harcourt
An Air Peace plane left the runway while landing in Port Harcourt, but everyone was safe.
The airline says there was no damage and all passengers got off without injury.
An Air Peace aircraft traveling from Lagos to Port Harcourt veered off the runway while landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Sunday morning.
The incident involved flight P47190, which had several passengers on board. Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage reported. All passengers safely disembarked from the plane after landing.
In a statement released on X, Air Peace confirmed the event and reassured the public that the airline remains committed to maintaining high safety standards across all its operations.
“The aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage. All passengers disembarked safely, and no injuries were reported,” the airline stated.
