A 23-year-old woman, Grace Godwin, was found dead in Jabi, Abuja, on Saturday morning.
Police suspect the incident may be linked to a notorious “one chance” criminal gang.
A tragic incident unfolded in Abuja over the weekend as a 23-year-old woman, Grace Godwin, was found lifeless along a roadside in the Jabi district. Authorities believe her death may be linked to a suspected abduction involving members of the notorious “one chance” criminal syndicate.
Grace, who worked as a fuel pump attendant at a Mobil filling station in Mabushi, was discovered unconscious around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday near Iya Abubakar Street.
Responding swiftly to a distress call, officers from the Jabi Police Division arrived at the scene and immediately transported her to the National Hospital in Abuja. Sadly, she was pronounced dead upon arrival by hospital staff.
Investigations are ongoing as the police continue to explore the circumstances surrounding her untimely death.
