Peller Says He Has Finally Chosen Cameraman After Viral Interview with 20 MSc Holders
Streamer Peller says he has finally picked a cameraman after his controversial job interview saga.
He defended his actions, saying no one was forced to join the livestreamed process.
NewsKobo.com earlier reported that over 20 MSc holders applied for a cameraman job with streamer Peller.
Controversial streamer Peller has announced that he has finally selected his preferred candidate for the cameraman role he recently advertised, a position that drew attention after he requested that applicants must hold a master’s degree.
The announcement follows days of backlash and public debate after Peller livestreamed the interview process, during which one female applicant, identified as Nkese, accused him of making insensitive remarks about her body and dismissing her ethnic background.
In a new video posted on his social media, Peller confirmed that he has chosen one successful applicant out of the 20 people who showed up for the interview.
“I’ve finally chosen the cameraman from the 20 people that came yesterday,” he said. “As for the girl saying I asked for her tribe and livestreamed it, I was joking, and I told everyone it would be live. I didn’t drag anyone to apply, so stop putting the blame on me.”
Peller emphasized that all applicants were informed ahead of time that the interview would be broadcast live, adding that no one was forced to participate.
