Regina Askia Urges Nigerians to Show Respect Following Buhari’s Death

Regina Askia urges Nigerians to show respect in mourning Buhari, stressing life’s brevity and service.

She says death should remind us to live purposefully and treat others with dignity and grace.

Former Nollywood actress and ex-beauty queen, Regina Askia, has appealed to Nigerians to approach the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari with respect and reflection.

In a message shared via Instagram, Askia called on the public to refrain from celebrating the former president’s death, reminding them of life’s shortness and the value of serving others while alive.

“President Buhari journeys home today. Let’s send him off respectfully with a prayer. Remember, dust we all are and to dust we will return. Let’s make each day count in service to each other with the time we have on earth. Journey well Mr President, rest in peace,” she wrote.
