Portable has declared full support for President Tinubu while blasting critic Verydarkman over harsh remarks.
He praised Tinubu’s efforts, urging Nigerians to ignore online noise and trust the president’s work.
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu while lashing out at activist Verydarkman for criticizing the Nigerian leader.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable slammed the outspoken critic for blaming Tinubu over the country’s economic struggles, insisting that the president is actively working to improve the nation.
His response came shortly after Verydarkman accused Tinubu of worsening hardship in the country, even suggesting that some citizens wished he had died instead of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Defending Tinubu, Portable described him as a quiet achiever who prefers action over media battles. He claimed that Nigeria has seen more progress under Tinubu’s leadership than in previous administrations.
“Since when dem don born me, wey Nigeria don dey, e go better, e go better, na Tinubu tenure Nigeria better, na Tinubu make Nigeria better, Tinubu best president,” the singer said.
He further urged Nigerians not to be misled by online criticism, stating: “Tinubu’s time is the best. Don’t let anyone deceive you. Tinubu is doing what he promised. Go and check. Things are getting better. We are behind Tinubu 100%.”
