Controversial rapper Speed Darlington has reappeared online, boasting about preferring New York women to Lagos ladies after leaving Nigeria amid a manhunt launched by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
Recall that the artist was declared wanted over allegations involving an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Shortly after the public notice was issued, Speed Darlington left Nigeria and returned to the United States.
In a new video circulating online, the entertainer is seen boasting about his decision to ditch Nigerian women, claiming that women in New York are more emotionally genuine.
“I left Lagos girl for New York girls. I thought they were better. This people dey do love. Our own people na ‘give me money, give me money,’” he said.
