Afrobeats star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, recently shared a lighthearted moment with a female fan who confidently asked him to follow her on Instagram.
In a video circulating on social media, the fan approached the singer and said, “I need you to follow me on Instagram.”
Davido, smiling, responded, “Sorry, my wife will kill me.”
The fan playfully insisted, “No, she’s not,” to which Davido replied with laughter, “Haha no, I only follow my wife. I can’t follow anyone else.”
The singer’s light-hearted comment quickly drew attention online, with many praising his loyalty to his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland.
Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding in 2024 in a lavish ceremony held in Lagos. Their white wedding is scheduled to take place in August 2025 in Miami, Florida.
