TikTok star Jarvis confirms engagement to fellow creator Peller after months of public denial.
She says his surprise proposal shocked her, but now embraces their growing relationship openly.
Popular Nigerian content creator and TikTok sensation, Jarvis, has officially confirmed her engagement to fellow TikToker, Peller, months after previously downplaying their relationship.
In a recent interview with Channels, the 23-year-old influencer addressed the speculation surrounding their bond, following Peller’s surprise proposal during a livestream in December 2024. At the time, the then-19-year-old Peller had presented her with a ring, which Jarvis publicly described as a “promise ring,” denying any romantic involvement. However, she has now clarified that they are, in fact, engaged.
“It’s true we’re engaged,” Jarvis revealed. “He actually proposed, and it really shocked me. I believe we’ll get married when the time is right. Marriage is a serious step, and I want to be sure we’re ready.”
She explained that she hasn’t been seen wearing the ring because it didn’t fit her finger properly, so she decided to keep it safe at home.
Jarvis also reflected on her initial impression of Peller, admitting that she didn’t think they would be compatible due to his online persona. “I didn’t think we would match at all,” she said. “But he’s actually a cool person offline. I’ve learned not to judge people based on social media.”
