Their renewed friendship comes almost a year after Toyin took to Instagram to publicly reach out, urging for peace and unity between herself, Funke, and Mercy Aigbe amid ongoing tensions in the industry.
The actresses recently followed each other back on Instagram and shared a warm exchange that signalled a fresh start. Toyin commented on one of Funke’s videos, writing, “Aunty Funke, you hot oooo.”
In a playful and affectionate reply, Funke responded, “Toyin lol, onijogbon (troublemaker), thanks dear.”
