Do2dtun Slams Bauchi Hisbah Over Ban on DJs and Event Planners
Do2dtun slams Bauchi Hisbah Board over harsh wedding rules banning DJs, dancers, and planners.
The media star calls the new restrictions backward, job-killing, and harmful to Nigeria’s creative industry.
Popular media personality, Do2dtun, has expressed strong disapproval of the new rules introduced by the Bauchi State Hisbah Board, which limit entertainment activities during weddings.

In a post shared by Do2dtun on X, he criticized Hisbah and the government for their placement of restrictions on event planners, DJs, and other forms of celebration in the state.

The Bauchi Hisbah Board recently released 16 new regulations aimed at stopping what they described as immoral behaviour during weddings and at recreational centers. These include bans on cultural displays such as Kawayawade, Aloba, gala nights, DJ performances, and any form of entertainment they consider indecent.
Hisbah explained that the decision was made due to the increasing number of divorces in the state. According to them, such “unholy” practices at the start of marriages were leading to broken homes and the loss of the “blessing of marriage.”
