TikTok star Peller shares why he left Islam, opening up about childhood experiences during livestream.
He said harsh treatment in Quranic school pushed him away and led to finding Christianity.
TikTok star Peller, has shared the personal story behind his decision to leave Islam and embrace Christianity. The content creator opened up during a recent livestream where he spoke about his early childhood experience with religion.

While chatting with his followers, one viewer referred to him as a Muslim. Peller responded immediately, clearing the air, “I am not a Muslim. I attend church,” he said.
Peller went on to explain the reason behind his choice to change faiths. He revealed that he grew up in a Muslim family and attended Quranic school as a child. However, his experience there left him with painful memories rather than spiritual connection. “While I was young, I used to attend a Quranic school. I was beaten mercilessly,” he said during the livestream. “That was why I stopped attending there.”
According to Peller, the harsh treatment he faced at the Quranic school deeply affected how he saw religion. He explained that the physical punishment he endured made him feel unsafe and unhappy, and eventually led him to walk away from Islam altogether.
Now a Christian, Peller says he finds peace and comfort in his new faith. His story has since added to ongoing conversations about religious upbringing, childhood trauma, and personal choice in spiritual journeys.
