Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey, has shared the story of how Grammy-winning star Wizkid introduced him to Instagram.
During a video call with music producer Maleek Berry, Daddy Showkey recalled visiting Wizkid’s house a few years ago. That visit ended up being the moment he first learned about the popular social media platform.
He explained that he became curious after learning he was trending online because of a post Wizkid made about him. Wanting to understand how Instagram worked, he asked questions, and Wizkid gladly helped.
According to him, Wizkid not only explained the platform but also created an Instagram account for him. Also, singer KCee gave him more effective tips on how to use the app.
Grateful for their help, Daddy Showkey praised both artists for guiding him through the process and helping him reach a wider audience.
He shared the story in an Instagram post, writing:
“I had a special call today from @maleekberry and I shared a story of how @wizkidayo introduced me and also helped me open my Instagram account, and how @iam_kcee also shared knowledge on how to navigate the app.” “Life is about learning, and applying the knowledge is key to the life we live now.”
