Nigerian singer Portable has taken their ongoing feud with social media activist Verydarkman to a controversial new level by leaking an intimate video of the activist online.
The latest move follows a series of heated exchanges between the two, with the conflict intensifying after Verydarkman released diss tracks accusing Portable of theft. The track, titled “Ole” a Yoruba word for “thief” mocked the singer using past allegations, including a resurfaced 2020 clip showing Portable being beaten by a mob over accusations of stealing a phone and tricycle.
Their online war initially ignited after Portable criticized Verydarkman for constantly attacking President Bola Tinubu over Nigeria’s economic hardship. He also accused the activist of using the late singer Mohbad’s tragic death to gain clout, arguing that justice had yet to be served in the case.
In a retaliatory move, Portable leaked old footage showing Verydarkman in private, intimate moments, sparking outrage and concern across social media platforms.
