TikTok star Peller accused a police officer of punching him during a stop in Lekki.
He shared the video online, calling out harassment and unfair treatment by security agents.
Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Peller, found himself in the middle of a late-night incident following a tense encounter with police officers in Lekki.
A now-viral video shows the 20-year-old TikTok sensation seated in the back of his vehicle during a routine stop by officers. As is typical of his content style, Peller began recording the incident. However, the situation quickly took a turn when one officer, seemingly irritated by the filming, approached and attempted to stop him.
Refusing to back down, Peller kept recording only to be allegedly punched in the face moments later. The footage became shaky and blurry at that point, suggesting a physical confrontation.
Fortunately, another officer who recognized Peller intervened and warned his colleague. Stepping out of the vehicle visibly shaken but unharmed, Peller voiced his anger, accusing the officers of harassment and physical assault.
