Controversial show promoter Sam Larry has taken a jab at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for disabling comments on her Instagram post amid ongoing backlash linked to the late singer Mohbad.
His taunt follows fresh allegations by activist Verydarkman, who claimed that Iyabo was part of a celebrity WhatsApp group allegedly plotting to undermine his campaign for justice in Mohbad’s case. According to him, the group was not only against his efforts but had also conspired to have him jailed.
Iyabo Ojo, in her response, dismissed the claims as unfounded and defamatory. However, shortly after her rebuttal, she restricted comments on the post and eventually deleted it actions many interpreted as an attempt to avoid public criticism.
In response, Sam Larry who has also faced heavy criticism over his alleged connection to Mohbad’s death seized the opportunity to mock the actress. In a sarcastic social media post, he mocked her for not giving Nigerians the chance to “greet” her.
“Small thing una don off comment. Me wey dem say I kill Diego Jota, kill Buhari, I no off comment. Dem even say I kill TV 😂😂😂. Abeg, on your comment make lovely Nigerians greet you o,” he wrote.
The post has stirred reactions, further fueling the already heated online conversations surrounding Mohbad’s death and those connected to the case.
