A video from a podcast session has gone viral online, after the host revealed alleged terms of Ayra’s deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. The 21 year old singer, known for her bold personality and unique style, is said to be under strict restrictions as part of a five-year agreement.
According to the podcast host, the contract reportedly controls key aspects of her personal and professional life, ranging from relationships to social media and public appearances.
“Stipulations of this deal are crazy. They include that Ayra Starr is not allowed to have a boyfriend during the five-year contract. She can’t choose collaborations without Roc Nation’s approval. She also can’t post on social media, dress, or speak in a way that goes against the label’s image,” the host claimed.
While these allegations remain unconfirmed, the claims have stirred strong reactions online, with fans expressing concern over how much creative and personal freedom Ayra might have sacrificed.
