Angela Okorie Accuses Colleagues of Envy, Says Some ‘Want to Be Me So Bad’
Angela Okorie calls out fake friends in Nollywood, says envy and hate run deep in the industry.
She accuses colleagues of copying her while secretly wishing her harm, calling it pure wickedness.
Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken a swipe at some of her colleagues, accusing them of envy and trying to imitate her while harboring ill intentions.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram story, Angela expressed frustration over what she described as growing hatred within the film industry. She claimed that many individuals pretend to be friendly but are secretly working against her.
“If not for God, my enemies would have ended me by now,” she wrote. “The things happening in this industry, only God is saving me. I’ve tried to understand the hate what’s it really about?”
Angela said she has become cautious of people who offer friendship, noting that some only want to get close out of envy. “Some don’t even like me but desperately want to be friends. You want to poison me?” she asked.
She further alleged that several industry players not only copy her style but go as far as wishing her harm. “It’s one thing to admire or imitate someone. But trying to wipe the person off the surface of the earth that’s pure wickedness,” she added.
