Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has opened up about a memorable gesture from singer Naira Marley, recalling how he surprised her with a generous show of affection on her birthday.
In a video making rounds online, Okorie recounted that Naira Marley gifted her bundles of ₦500 notes during her birthday celebration. More than the money, she said it was the encouragement he gave her that stood out. “Naira Marley surprised me on my birthday with a lot of money. I was shocked. The encouragement he gave m nobody has ever given me that,” she said.
Angela explained that the gesture moved her so much that she later paid the singer a visit to thank him personally, which eventually led to a music collaboration between them. Speaking further, she described Naira Marley as “too nice,” noting his quiet and calm demeanor. “He doesn’t even talk much,” she added.
